My name is Melissa, and I am a student currently attending the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Because I have spent nearly 3 years living in Okinawa, Japan, my artwork has been influenced towards the Japanese Animation style. I work with Photoshop CS2 and Open Canvas 4+ for digital artwork.

On a more personal level, I'm known to be pretty lazy. This isn't a grand feature, but when I know I have to get something done, I get it done - that I can guarentee. I also enjoy drawing, watching movies, and spending time with my family and friends.

A lot of music inspires my work. I simply can't work on something without music by my side. My music tastes rang from one extreme to the other i.e. country music to heavy metal rock. I also like J-pop, pop, alternative, classical, and new age.

In short, I'm your average teenager. I love my life, I love my friends, and I couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!
