Okay, so the ACEN turn-out was MUCH more than I could have ever expected!! Not in terms of moula or anything, but just being there was more than I could ever ask for. First and foremost, Cris, you are a trooper for managing your hurt back through the whole weekend. I'm sorry you couldn't spend Saturday and Sunday with us, but I hope you get well soon so that I can come visit and tackle you to the floor.

Some big, big highlights for me...

So this cute couple and their daughter came to my table. Their daughter was in a baby stroller thing, and she must have been.. eeeh, roughly 1-3 maybe? Somewhere in there, one of the cutest little girls I've seen, and the mother asks me, "You have such a good InuYasha costume on. Can you come talk to my daughter? She just LOVES Inuyasha." and so I, dressed as Inuyasha, came around from the table and squatted down next to the little girl and talked to her. XD; I was so lame.

Me: Hello there!
The mom: Look! It's really InuYasha! He's come to say hi!
girl: o.o...
The mom: Can you give this to Inuyasha? Tell him that you helped make it!
girl: *hands me a fuzzy-kitten business card craft thing*
Me: Oh woah! That's so cool. Thank you! *.. TOOTHY GRIN*

Yeah. I blew it being in character, but she was just way too cute.

And then I met someone who I guess recognized me from here on deviantART, and I went to go hug her and when I pulled back, the poor thing looked like she started crying. ;__; Goodness gracious she was so adorable, I couldn't stop hugging her. I always feel so humbled and gracious when people seem to make such a big deal about meeting me. I'm not really that big, at least I don't feel too important, but like.. it just totally makes my freaking week when something like that happens. So I hope I totally made her day, too. @_@

And then, also dressed as Inuyasha, I was wandering around in front of my table, acting stupid, until Emily, who is dressed as Miroku, points to someone behind me. I turn around, and THERE'S THE COOLEST SESSHOUMARU COSPLAYER EVER.

I whipped around, grabbed Tetsusaiga, and was like "YOUUUUUU!!!!111"

And he was like "HAHAH WOAH--*pose.*"

And we got into this fighting stance and then out of nowhere BAMBAMBAMBAM camera flashes are going EVERYWHERE.

And then we had to pose for a BUNCH of people. XD By the end of it all we couldn't hold straight faces so we kept giggling during the pictures, but oh my freaking god, he was so awesome. His outfit was amazing. His contacts were made of WIN, and... he was just an awesome Sesshoumaru cosplayer. I really secretly wanted to hug him but being that I was Inuyasha, I don't think I could have. XD;

And and then I gushed all over *-coey- at the end of Sunday, too. AND! And, I have a nice big fat bruise on my hip for being osuwari'd on Saturday. Megzie was dressed as Kagome, and this group of people walk by and ask us if Kagome (Megzie) can sit InuYasha (me). Then they explain that it's for this treasure hunt thing that they're doing. They have a list of things they have to capture on video, and sitting InuYasha is one of them. So, smug Kagome got to osuwari me on video tape. It was actually pretty fun. I only missed one or two "sit" commands on Saturday, mainly cause I wasn't paying attention.

Poor Inuyasha.

WHAT ELSE?

Goodness. Tried out selling the scout badges - they did pretty well! I also did some Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, and Orihime badges (that's what the poll was for, lawls, I'm sneaky) and those also did fairly well. I was rather entertained when Ulquiorra (dubbed 'EMO' on the badge) sold out first. Grimmjow was "REBEL" and Orihime was "PRINCESS". I wanted to make Noitora "BULLY" and Szayel "FREAK". And maybe Halibel as "BAD GIRL" or something. I have no idea. And the outer scouts were requested a lot too, so I'll have to do well on them when I get to them.

BUT YAY. Successful, fun, lots of fangirling/squeeing weekend.

So now that I'm out of school and at home for the summer, I am ready to work on commissions full force. Aaaaafter I prepare for ACEN. *SHOT*

But seriously. This summer I am going to try and buckle down and get as much done as possible. Also, I have some stuff here in my room that should have been mailed out a long long time ago, but hadn't been (probably because of my forgetfulness and stupidity and for that I deeply apologize), so if you're missing something, please let me know. D: I trust none of you'll just lie and say I owe you something when I don't, either, so yeah.

I think I might have found a way to make my own really stupidly cheap-looking keychains, so I'm going to play around with that idea, too. If I can find those little keychain ring holders, I can punch holes in laminated material and make keychains e___e MWAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAhahaghghahghahghahha--*hackwheeze*

PS - my internet is being very choosy right now. I tried to upload a commission WIP for a commissioner and it wouldn't let me upload it on photobucket, imageshack, my own personal server space, OR as a scrap on DA. D: But on my mom's computer (which I am on right now), it works perfectly fine. So I'm seeing if a system restore will work out the kinks.

Once ACEN's over, I'll probably be uploading a lot more work since I generally like to hide away new art for the con-goers, and then upload the piece afterwards. So you, congoers who bought some fresh new art, you got to see it first, if that counts for anything at all. XD;

So yes! Be prepared for big dump of art in the future.

I'll also be posting a lot of my school work, because I like the idea of having the bulk of my work here on DA for whoever to see, you know? I mean, it's all in one big spot that way I can just make some sort of website for the featured stuff and then link to here so other folks can check out the rest of my stuff if they're interested.

So I'd like to have my school work here, which isn't so much anime as the rest of my stuff (sorry folks who seem to enjoy the anime more than anything else), and then you guys can see what else I do. Or something. I don't know. WEEEE PUPPIES.
