.. Alright, so. I wrote this longass description and DA's server just went dying on me and I lost it.
SOOOO. Long story short - Azrael is the keeper of the Book of Life and Death, and Ariel guides souls from Purgatory to either Heaven or Hell. Azrael is then taken down to hell by one of the deadly sins and becomes a fallen Angel in *zoeyspencer's and my story, Black Feather Gospel. These two've been together for like, thousands of years in Heaven. The gold thing behind Ariel's hair is a rendition of the halos drawn in old-time paintings of Angels. Azrael, Artwork © Melissa S.
