A quickie Tama piece cause I've been working on Asian-related things for the past week and if I didn't draw him then I probably would have gone insane.

Mock-up of the Japanese art style... the red symbol thing doesn't mean anything.

The character's name is Tama and he's sitting on a lotus flower. The two balls floating around him represent his shi shi protectors.

Drawn with a brush pen and then "inked" with Painter. 8D I am so newww to Painter.

So yeah, I don't comment your work much at all but...

I really like the way you use the Japanese art stye in your work. I'd love to see more of it. I remember the piece you did for Okami - It was totally brilliant and so much fun to look at. I really like the brush strokes in the shading; it looks like real ink wash.

Would you consider adding some sort of parchment texture//very faint creamy color to this? It might be cool to play with; it could turn out awesome. ...Or maybe you already have a texture on it that isn't very easy to see. xDDD

This is really amazing.
You always surprise me to the fact that you use digital programs, but your pieces look traditional.

I love your style for Japanese traditional painting.

I'm not 100% sure why I like this so much...I think it's the fluidity, balance and non-fussyness of it. I'm also very fond of limited colour palettes! It's beautiful!
