Could "mirror" be a variation or mistranslation?
Tama again. Did some practice with copics.. and added a few digital changes after I scanned. The original is a lot more brighter and colorful, but when I scanned it some of the colors burned my retinas. xx

I like the meaning of this proverb, coupled with the masks that Tama wears (though he wouldn't really wear an Oni mask; it just symbolizes another part of him)

Some of the shadows don't match.. and his eyes look a smidge too far apart, but I'm really happy with how this came out.

Oh wow...

I'm really liking how this character is shaping up. Have you ever watched the series Mononoke (and the three episode predecessor, Bakeneko)? It's very short, only about 12-13 episodes. It's very striking and I think it might provide a lot of inspiration for you along this train of thought.
