This is the first page, sketch-wise, for my Marie Antoinette comic in Introduction to Comics class.

THIS IS WHY I DON'T DO COMICS. T____T;;;;

I took an illustrator's standpoint on this, I think. I also suck at scenery and backgrounds. But give me boobs and ruffled dresses and no matter how inaccurate they might be, I will have fun drawing them any day.

Ooo...this did turn out good. You were right, there are a lot of details! But it looks like you handled them really well. Nice work!

I should post the inks up once they're done... but yeah, I don't know, I think it could have been taken a lot further but I needed to keep my sanity somehow.

Actually, I think it's quite a unique way to do a page. I like it very much.

oooh ruffles. Man I wish I could handle drawing ruffles that well. oh well. I love how this comic looks as a whole. It's a different way of going about presenting it. I like it.

It's basically:

Hi! My name is Marie Antoinette. Some of you may have heard me. I got married to so-and-so, but he sucks in bed, and I go to parties, and people scammed me, and I finally had kids, and Maximilien Robespierre revolted along with lots of other people and then I died.

That's the jist of the comic, done in this.. sort of casual kind of talk like that. XD

I love it- the details and ruffles look great, and your art is just amazing... The way you made picture frames into panels is great too! :D I'd love to see a more finished version of this!

I like it, the detail is great. Is hard to do that much detail, specially drawing faces and hands when you have so little space to draw them.
