My submission for ~Chihiro-donno's bishotron contest!

His name is Keene. Keene is a soul (he's not alive) with a bad history, but in order to redeem himself, he's been given the position to guide souls through their passing to purgatory (as it is a dangerous and long journey; so he does a lot of protecting and fighting to keep them safe).

So basically, when a person dies, they're allowed so many days to stay in the 'living realm' before their soul is automatically chained to that realm (which is where we get 'ghosts'), but then that means your soul doesn't replenish and reincarnate itself, and instead is left to die off alone. Not fun. So, Keene rounds up his next 'client', grants them one last wish before they part to purgatory (so long as it doesn't interfere with the living), and once that's done, he escorts them through the rough journey to purgatory. Once there, he heads back to repeat the process and the soul stays in purgatory for a long-arse time until they are judged for their actions in the living realm. The process takes nearly forever, so it takes a looong time to get to heaven (if you're qualified in this storyline), but once there, you're supposedly greeted by The Man himself.

SO. That's the story I've come up with for Keene.

Here's the description I was given:

"This gentleman's jade-colored eyes are those of a prowling panther. He has shoulder-length, straight, sky blue hair with one braid on the left side of his face. His physique is very willowy."
