Artist's Comments
A month-or-so old drawing of a character of mine. His name is Keene (before I became aware of the band Keane which is all dipped in awesomesauce), and he is a soul escort trying to redeem his soul so he can go into Heaven.
The idea for this was to make it seem like paint was thrown on the wall to show his wanted angelic status, but it is only paint, and can wash away, which is metaphorical to his inability to go to Heaven (yet). I remember wanting to accomplish some kind of 'expression' with his expression, but I can't decide if it fits or not. I know that I'm not good with backgrounds or whatnot, so you'll just have to deal with my graphic tendencies for now. I have so much work to do its not funny, and I apologize to my commissioners for putting out work that isn't theirs. I'm just so inspired for this right now, and if I were to work on other things, they just wouldn't come out. I'll suck it up though, I promise! ;_; Okay. u_u I'm done rambling. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
