TAMAAAAAA. More sumi-e inspired stuff. I love this pentel brush pen that I have. It's deliciously awesome, and probably one of the better $15-$20 bucks I've spent on an art utensil ever.

The two incense smoke trails represent his two shishi dog guardians, and the script in the top corner should say "eien" - I did not write it myself, but found an example script and adjusted accordingly in adobe illustrator.

Paper texture from ~struckdumb. Also listened to Ryan Farish while working on this.

Oh, the style kinda reminds me of Ookami, the game. But then again, you did say the style is sumi-e (don't know if that's the style Ookami is in or just that they're both traditional Japanese art styles). Nevertheless, love the pic. The title fits. =D

I really like this piece! I has all the charm of this old Asian style art, mixed new beauty of manga-like art. I find this very enjoyable and will have to VCFD this!
